Getting Pre-Approval is Essential
During the Pre-Approval process there are some documents the lender may ask for:
- 2years history where you've lived
- W-2 forms from the last 2 years
- Pay stubs from the last 30 days
- Bank statements from the last 60 days. Once you get these documents in and all checks out you will receive your pre-approval letter. This will let your realtor know you are serious about looking at and buying a home. It will most importantly make your offer to sellers stronger. It will also, help you know price range of homes your can buy.
